    The Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators initiated a program of giving in 1993 to award scholarships and grants to teachers and future teachers to strengthen technology and engineering education.
  • FTEE Recipients
    The following individuals, as teachers and future teachers of technology and engineering education, have been recipients of scholarships and grants made possible through the generosity of donors to the Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators since 1993.

Awards and Scholarships

ITEEA and its foundation, the Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators (FTEE), give awards, and scholarships to support the advancement of technology and engineering education. The Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators (FTEE) was established in 1986 as a nonprofit 501 (c )(3) organization, initiated a program of giving in 1993, in which awards are presented during the ITEEA Annual Conference. FTEE awards support programs that will: make our children technologically literate; transfer industrial and corporate research into our schools; produce models of excellence in technology and engineering teaching; create public awareness regarding the nature of technology and engineering education; and help technology and engineering teachers maintain a competitive edge in technology. Scholarships
  • Veterans who are currently enrolled as students pursuing either an undergraduate or graduate degree as a Technology and Engineering teacher are encouraged to apply. This program serves to honor those who have served our country and are now committed to serving/teaching our students.

  • TEECA Student Professional Development - The Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators (FTEE) announces the establishment of the Claussen/FTEE Scholarship. Through the generosity of donors, this scholarship is being created in memory of Larry Claussen, former technology teacher, TEECA advisor, mentor, and friend.

  • FTEE Scholarship for Undergraduate Major in Technology and Engineering Education - The Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators announces the availability of a $1,000 scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in technology and engineering education teacher preparation. The award is based upon interest in teaching, academic ability and faculty recommendations.

  • Maley/FTEE Scholarship for Technology and Engineering Teacher Professional Development - The Foundation for Technology and Engineering Educators proudly announces the $1,000 Maley/FTEE Technology and Engineering Teacher Scholarship in honor of Dr. Donald Maley. Its purpose is to support teachers in their preparation to increase the positive outcomes of technology and engineering education. Criteria include: (1) evidence of teaching success, (2) plans for action research, (3) recommendations, (4) plans for professional development, and (5) the applicant's need.
