ITEEA INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
ITEEA GROUP MEMBERSHIP

ITEEA offers two main types of Individual Membership:

Professional (includes Professional Electronic, Advocate; and in some states, Unified) and Student.

Professional Members join for a variety of reasons but a recent Membership Survey indicated that the top reasons our members join are:

  • To stay abreast of the latest trends in the field
  • Attend and/or present at the ITEEA Annual Conference
  • Network with like-minded individuals
  • To be affiliated with THE organization that supports their profession

Student Members are college/university undergraduates who join to learn about the profession and network with their peers. All student members are automatically enrolled into the ITEEA Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Council (TEECA), the largest single body of pre-service TEE teachers in the nation—consisting of undergraduate student organization chapters and individual members—whose purpose is to  promote leadership, fellowship, scholarship, and a philosophical foundation for future technology and engineering teachers. TEECA holds a number of coordinated activities at the chapter, state, regional, and international level. TEECA Brochure - College Survival Kit

Individual Members also receive ITEEA publications, product, and Engineering byDesign™ course and unit discounts as well as savings on registration for the ITEEA Annual Conference. View the Member Benefits Matrix to see a breakdown of all benefits per member type and associated costs (two year membership costs not included).

ITEEA offers three types of Group Membership:

  • K-12: Elementary STEM, Middle and High School Integrative STEM
  • Institutional: Colleges, Universities, and Organizations
  • Corporate

Below are just some of the reasons why group members join ITEEA:

Elementary STEM Membership provides professional development benefits for EVERY teacher in your school. In addition, your school will receive subscriptions to two ITEEA journals: Technology and Engineering Teacher (TET), and Children's Technology and Engineering (CTE). Additional benefits include discounts on ITEEA Annual Conference registration; eligibility to present at the Annual Conference; curriculum materials specifically designed for elementary schools by ITEEA's STEM±Center for Teaching and Learning™; eligibility for awards and recognition, and unlimited access to “Members Only” where you will find an extensive online library of STEM resources including conference presentations, white papers and much more.

Middle and High School Integrative STEM Membership provides your principal and up to four additional teachers in multiple STEM-related disciplines the same benefits as an Elementary STEM Membership. Additional teachers may join at a reduced rate of 50% off the regular membership rate.

Institutional  Members receive Technology and Engineering Teacher (TET), ITEEA's flagship and peer-reviewed journal, eligibility to present at the ITEEA Annual Conference, complimentary listing in the Technology and Engineering Program Institutional Directory on ITEEA's website and in the April issue of TET, and discounts on conference registration and conference exhibit space.

Corporate Members SAVE on advertising year-round and receive recognition and special pricing on conference exhibit space at the ITEEA Annual Conference. In addition, they will receive Technology and Engineering Teacher (TET), access to Members Only, as well as discounts on curriculum, etc.
