The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) is the professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering educators. Our mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and engineering and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits. ITEEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities
Our members are both individuals and groups - who are committed to providing the best integrative STEM education resources TODAY to tomorrow's future innovators.
ITEEA offers two main types of Individual Membership:
Professional (includes Professional Electronic, Advocate; and in some states, Unified) and Student.
Professional Members join for a variety of reasons but a recent Membership Survey indicated that the top reasons our members join are:
Student Members are college/university undergraduates who join to learn about the profession and network with their peers. All student members are automatically enrolled into the ITEEA Technology and Engineering Education Collegiate Council (TEECA), the largest single body of pre-service TEE teachers in the nation—consisting of undergraduate student organization chapters and individual members—whose purpose is to promote leadership, fellowship, scholarship, and a philosophical foundation for future technology and engineering teachers. TEECA holds a number of coordinated activities at the chapter, state, regional, and international level. TEECA Brochure - College Survival Kit
Individual Members also receive ITEEA publications, product, and Engineering byDesign™ course and unit discounts as well as savings on registration for the ITEEA Annual Conference.
