    Here’s an opportunity for students in grades 3-12 to learn more about engineering and win cash prizes. Today, the Engineergirl writing contest opens with the theme of Engineering for Your Community. The contest challenges students to write a plea convincing others to improve their community’s infrastructure. The contest website describes the different systems of infrastructure needed and how one might go through the engineering design process to work through identifying the problems and coming up with the solutions.
