I am currently the Technology and Engineering Education teacher for Parsons Middle/High School in Parsons, KS. I graduated with my BSEd in Technology and Engineering Education in 2016, my MSEd in Career and Technical Education, and am currently working on my EdS in Workforce Development Education, all from Pittsburg State University. I will be pursuing my doctoral in Adult Learning (Emphasis in Technology Education) from University of Arkansas, beginning in the spring of 2020. In October of 2018, my program at Parsons Middle School was nominated and won the ISEA (International STEM Education Association) STEM School of Excellence Award. My interests include Materials and Processes, AutoCAD, Power & Energy, and Robotics. I am a FIRST Robotics, TSA, and SkillsUSA advisor for both Middle and High School. The courses I teach are: 1.) 8th Grade Explorations in Technology 2.) 8th Grade Investigations in Technology 3.) 9th Grade Introduction to Technology 4.) Woodworking Principles 5.) Construction Systems Technology 6.) Advanced Materials Technology and 7.) Advanced CNC Applications. My long-term goal is to become a Technology and Engineering Education Teacher Educator.
