With technology and engineering education, students get to problem solve, design, and innovate while being presented with rich and varied experiences. It aims for broad technological literacy within areas such as robotics, electronics, bio technologies, and much more. Students are encouraged to show initiative, be innovative and creative, learn independently, and take responsibility. Experience the interdisciplinary nature of STEM with free online resources that bring to life the relationship among science, technology and society (STS) through the lens of history! The free resources include: Inquiry designed lesson plans with excerpted documents for students, hands-on activities, short engaging videos, and primary source documents that are digitally linked to the archive where they are housed, i.e. the Library of Congress, a museum, etc. All of the free resources are downloadable for easy digital sharing. IEEE REACH (reach.ieee.org) is a program developed by the IEEE History Center. IEEE is the world's largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.
