    The Girls STEM Summit – Statewide 2017 serves girls in Grades 8-12 and will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Regis, 235 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA. The event runs from 7:45 am - 4:15 pm and has a fee of $60 per student (fee includes lunch and parting gift). Individual and group enrollment are available. The researchers are currently conducting Round 4 of this study, designed to determine the extent to which U.S. public school students are doing hands-on activities in their classrooms. The Learn Better by Doing Study needs YOU (even if you have participated before)!

    Each year, Lockheed Martin hosts Code Quest, an annual computer programming competition where teams of 2-3 students each work together for 2.5 hours to solve problems by using JAVA and/or Python programming to complete the “quest.” The problem set consists of 15-20 challenging problems created by Lockheed Martin engineers and computer programmers.
