A hands-on workshop utilizing drones and introducing a powerful middle to high curriculum continuum that explores STEAM and CTE concepts, careers, and prepares students for the FAA Part 107 certification exam for commercial drone use. This workshop will be broken into 3 different stations with a round table discussion at the end. 1. High School Drone Curriculum (Hands on Airport Operations and Airspace) 2. Middle School Drone Curriculum (Hands on Autonomous Coding and Career Connections) 3. Hands on Flying Practice (Basic Flight Maneuvers and Terminology).

Using a TI-Innovator Rover robotic vehicle, you will write programs (no experience required) that control the speed, direction, and sensing of the rover. This is a great way to get students excited about robotics and coding. Appropriate for middle school and high school.
