Up For a Challenge? Join us as the winners of the 2018 Grand Design Challenge walk you through the process of planning, building, and presenting ITEEA’s Elementary STEM Council’s Annual Global Design Challenge for Elementary STEM Students.

ITEEA's specially designed professional development STEMinar series focuses on Technology and Engineering Education best practices for leading Integrative STEM Education (I-STEM Education) in your school. This STEMinar series is FREE to ITEEA members. The fee for nonmembers is $45. You must be logged in to see member pricing.

Mrs. Tracy Young is the STEAM Specialist at Benton Hall Academy in Little Falls, NY. Mrs. Young is the Engineering byDesign instructor for over 500 students in Kindergarten through fifth grade. Three of Mrs. Young’s fifth grade students won the 2018 ITEEA Elementary STEM Council’s Grand Design Challenge.

In 2018, Mrs. Young was also awarded the Observer Dispatch’s Amazing Teacher Award. This is her third year using the EbD program. Mrs. Young was previously a first grade teacher and is in her 26th year of teaching.
