Daphne is currently serving as the 2019-2020 International Technology Engineering Education Collegiate Association (TEECA) President-Elect as well as the Purdue TEECA President. As a student at Purdue University, Daphne has done research into the effects of urbanization on rates of Lyme Disease as well as research about using speculative design hacks as a means of envisioning more inclusive technology. She is a member of the Purdue Student Education Council, participates in Purdue FIRST Programs, coaches two FIRST LEGO League Jr. teams, is a Science Olympiad event coordinator, and a Student Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Purdue Undergraduate Research. Daphne is also a National Geographic Certified Educator and Google Certified Educator.
