Scott R. Bartholomew, PhD, currently works at Purdue University. Scott earned his Bachelor and Masters degrees in Technology and Engineering Education from Brigham Young University and his PhD in Curriculum & Instruction from Utah State University. Scott taught middle school Technology and Engineering classes for three years at Vista Heights Middle School in Saratoga Springs, Utah. Scott is the recipient of the FTEE Outstanding Graduate Student Award, a member of the 21st Century Leaders Cohort, and a former Outstanding Affiliate Representative for the State of Utah. Scott is actively involved in ITEEA and his research interests revolve around adaptive comparative judgment (ACJ) for open-ended design problems and portfolios, Integrative STEM education, and student self-directed learning.
