November 16, 2018

The 2018 combined Mississippi Valley Technology Teacher Educator (MVTTEC) Conference and Southeastern Technology Education Conference (STEC) is being held November 15-16, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Dr. Jennifer Buelin, was the Thursday morning session moderator for the MVTTEC session strand, “Content, Methods, and New Directions.” All session presenters provided an in-depth look at the topics within our field and generated rich discussion by attendees with excellent questions that will drive future research topics in our field. ITEEA’s STEM CTL presented on EbD™ initiatives. This presentation (click here to view) was jointly developed and presented by Jenny Buelin, Anita Deck, Nancy Hart, and Joanna Papadopoulos.

Steve Barbato, along with Jenny Buelin and Anita Deck, presented on “STEM4: The Power of Collaboration for Change” the collaborative paper between ITEEA, CS3, ASSM, Advance CTE, and CCSSO, to be disseminated at our 2019 conference with a special preconference session. The Mississippi Valley Conference and STEC combine programs every three years. ITEEA members, Dr. Kevin Sutton (President of STEC) and Dr. Michael Daugherty (Mississippi Valley “Life Chair”) worked together to create the combined 2018 agenda.
