ITEEA Represented at 13th Int'l Conference on Tech Ed in the Asia-Pacific Region

January 25, 2019

ITEEA was represented at the 13th International Conference of Technology Education in the Asia-Pacific Region by Senior Fellow, Dr. Johnny J Moye, DTE and Past-President, Dr. Edward Reeve, DTE.

The conference was held at the Korea National University of Education, in Cheongju, South Korea, 16-18 January 2019. Dr. Reeve was a keynote speaker and Dr. Moye was an invited speaker and presented the results of the Learn Better by Doing Study as well as Technology and Engineering Literacy: Not Left to Chance presentations. Both of these studies illustrate how middle and high school technology education courses integrate science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) into standards-based, real-world, hands-on activities. This form of learning, Learning by Doing, benefit students academic success, preparing them for life, no matter where on earth those students live and study.

According to Dr. Moye, "Visiting and presenting in Korea was an outstanding experience."
