2020 Conference Theme:

Technological and Engineering Literacy for ALL

ITEEA’s 2020 conference theme focuses on the importance of providing access and equity for all PreK-12 students to become technologically and engineering literate through high-quality STEM instruction. Students who study technology and engineering through an integrative STEM education approach learn about the technological world that inventors, engineers, and other innovators have created. The goal is to produce students with a more conceptual understanding of technology and engineering and its place in society. These students must conceptualize and evaluate new technologies that they may have never before seen. By “doing and making,” children become “makers” for the future.
