Free Virtual STEM resources from Palmer Hamilton

May 08, 2020

We understand engaging students virtually can be a challenge, especially being tossed into that situation without notice.

So, to support educators, Palmer Hamilton PHabLAB & INVENTOR CLOUD have started building a FREE repository of STEM based lessons you can access and utilize. In addition, we will make available “Subject Matter Experts” to give short STEM presentations to your students through virtual tools like Google Meet as we are able.

These lessons will also leverage our virtual capabilities which we are very excited to offer. Initially, students can work through the material and then build or prototype with household items. But we also will be providing an option to leverage our digital fabrication lab, where if your students design a project, we can build in our space with our 3D Printers, Lasers, & Vinyl Cutters to output their project and send back to your school.

To get started, we will offer an initial project at no charge for the first (25) teachers to register their class (Up to 25 students per class – 1 class per school) After which we will provide projects at $9.00/each individual project, which will cover our costs of materials and shipping back to school) Of course as we mentioned, we provide instructions for how to use home based materials as well, so a project made in our lab is not a requirement.

We have some starter lessons ready to go and will continue to add more resources as we are able.

To get started, please register at this FREE Registration and we will send over log-in credentials to access materials.

If you need extra assistance or support in implementing, please reach out to us, we are here to help and will do our best to facilitate.
