ITEEA is currently accepting applications for an Executive Director/CEO as a result of the announcement by current Executive Director, Steven A. Barbato, DTE, of his upcoming retirement.
Position Description:
Executive Director/CEO  
The International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) is seeking an Executive Director/CEO who will report directly to its Board of Directors. The Executive Director/CEO has direct responsibility for day-to-day organizational activities including membership and meeting management, fiduciary responsibilities, and the execution of ITEEA operational functions, personnel management, and other leadership activities. The Executive Director/CEO must be able to provide direct supervision of staff, manage a variety of projects simultaneously, adjust priorities as required, and work with minimal supervision. The position requires excellent communication skills, membership and marketing experience, association management expertise, and a commitment to interact frequently with leaders and members inside and outside the profession on matters of establishing policy and setting direction.  
The Board of Directors seeks a professional with an association background and an extreme interest in all levels of technology and engineering education or a technology and engineering education professional with a strong leadership background and commitment to learn association management. Salary and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience. 
Minimum qualifications for this position are a master’s degree or higher in education or similar background with at least three years of administrative experience preferred. Experience in a virtual working environment is preferred.
