ITEEA Releases Updated Strategic Plan
RESTON, VA., JUNE 22, 2022 – The Board of Directors of the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) recently approved an update the association's Strategic Plan. The 2022 revision was informed by feedback collected from a diverse group of ITEEA leaders over the last six months.

The updated plan was streamlined to include five goals centering on Membership, Engagement, Partnerships and Collaborations, Curriculum and Professional Development, and Standards.

The Board worked to make the goals more focused and each goal includes strategies that are specific, actionable, measurable, and aligned with what the Board believes to be most important to the association.

ITEEA's President, Debra Shapiro, shared, "the Board of Directors looks forward to presenting each of the goals of the 2023 Strategic Plan and receiving your input and support in completing each task. Our ability to reach each of these goals hinges on your continued membership and participation with our task forces, committees, conferences, councils, professional development activities, and other opportunities offered by the association."

ITEEA will be scheduling Town Halls during the course of the 2022-2023 school year in order to present the new Strategic Plan and invite members to share feedback and new ideas for each of the five goals. Dates and times for each Town Hall will be shared later this summer.
