TEE Membership Study

September 14, 2022

Dear Educator,

Greetings! As you know, there is a significant teacher shortage in Technology and Engineering Education. Dr. Joseph Furse and Dr. Cory Ortiz, with graduate students Emily Yoshikawa-Ruesch and Hannah Lloyd, are investigating current practices and impacts of mentoring on early-career technology and engineering teachers. We hope this study will help decision-makers better understand how to support early-career technology and engineering teachers to stay in the profession.

If you are a technology and engineering teacher and have been teaching five or less years, we would like to invite you to participate in the study by taking a 10 to 15-minute online survey. Additionally, those interested will have the possibility to participate in a short follow-up interview.

If you would like to participate in this study, please click the link below to take the survey.
