Sincere thanks are extended to the new Board Members for taking on this leadership role and to the other candidates for their willingness to share their wealth of experience and talent with ITEEA. By being part of the ballot, each of the candidates has demonstrated their commitment and leadership in the field.

This year’s ballot also included a request for approval of proposed revisions to the ITEEA Bylaws, which were last revised in 2016. The proposed revisions were mostly editorial and non-substantive, and members had the opportunity to review the revisions in advance of voting on the change. A two-thirds majority of the members voting was required to pass the Bylaws change, which was readily reached.

Finally, well over the required 50 voting members signed a petition supporting formation of a  Secondary STEM Council. The Board will vote on the "Intent to Organize" proposal for the new Council at its January Board meeting.
