AeroEducate: Aviation Themed Integrative STEM Resources

Learn about AeroEducate - a platform developed by the Experimental Aircraft Association as a resource for educators and students. This presentation will discuss the development of the industry and higher education relationship and share FREE standards aligned aviation-themed Integrative STEM resources for K-12 educators. 
Kevin Sutton, Ed.D. is an assistant professor in the CTE program at Appalachian State University. He earned his master's in education from Virginia Tech and his BS and EdD from NC State. He has taught various courses at the post-secondary level and worked on several research projects. Sutton has recently been working with a team on developing hands-on Aviation-themed Integrative STEM activities for the AeroEducate program.  
Laura Doyle is an Engineering and Design teacher at Westfield High School in New Jersey. She earned her BS from The College of New Jersey and her MAEd and EdS from Virginia Tech. She has an extensive background in middle and high school classrooms and has served as an integral part of research teams. Recently, she has been a core member of the AeroEducate activity development and testing team.
