Don't Miss These Special Events at ITEEA's 2023 Conference in Minneapolis

Each of the events below are free to all registered conference attendees.
ITEEA Dream Ride…Go Baby Go Style!
Go Baby Go! provides mobility (and play!) to very young children in the form of adapted toy ride-on cars. At this special event, Technology and Engineering Education educators and students will continue to familiarize the larger T&EE community with Go Baby Go! Over the course of the conference, faculty and students will be adapting several motorized ride-on cars near the Exhibit Floor. All conference attendees are encouraged to stop by for as little or as long as they'd like to see the program in action. On Friday the cars will be donated to children with special needs from the area, who'll "test drive" their new rides before taking them home.
ITEEA STEM Showcase
The ITEEA STEM Showcase is a unique and exciting event highlighting best practices in Integrative STEM education! Showcasers illustrate a single element of technology or engineering teaching and learning that they feel they have exemplified including learning activities, marketing materials, career guidance, facility design, program design, assessment methods, equity, or classroom/laboratory management techniques. Don’t miss this event to learn new ideas directly from other educators just like you!
Special Panel Session
Join a panel of esteemed leaders and educators in addressing the pressing challenge of recruiting and retaining a strong and robust STEM education workforce. Panelists will share their own experiences – including what’s worked and what hasn’t – in attracting educators to our profession and providing supports throughout their career so they stay. Closing with an inspiring call to action, this session is sure to leave all with lots to discuss during the Opening Reception that follows!
TEECA Competitive Events
TEECA is the single largest body of preservice technology and engineering teachers in the nation. TEECA is well represented at the ITEEA Annual Conference, with competing universities participating annually, as well as preservice teachers, faculty advisors, and other state education officers from around the nation in attendance. Competitive event categories include Transportation, Problem-Solving, Technology, Robotics, and Teaching. Be sure to take time to watch an exciting TEECA competitive event!
