ITEEA today announced the launch of a new, completely redesigned website, www.iteea.org. Key features of the site include a cleaner and more attractive design, and more engaging user experience with enhanced search and navigation.
“This new website represents a significant step in ITEEA’s commitment to leading the Integrative STEM Education field, making it easier for members and the public to access and share information,” shared ITEEA President, Joey Rider-Bertrand.
Below is a list of just some of the improved functionality.
“In developing this site, we were mindful of our three most important constituencies—our members, the broader Integrative STEM Education field, and public audiences who may not yet be savvy about technological literacy,” said Steve Barbato, ITEEA Executive Director. “While the website obviously serves a very public function, it is also helping us meet internal needs by providing better information to our growing network of members and institutions around the world. This is a major step forward for ITEEA, its members, advocates of Integrative STEM Education, and those members of the general public who want to learn more.”
ITEEA (www.iteea.org) is the professional organization for technology and engineering educators. Its mission is to promote technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching of technology and engineering and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in these pursuits. ITEEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities.
