Operation PolarEye had an urgent mission: gather information about polar bears and their habitat and use it to save them from extinction due to climate change. Students will ‘join’ the team of engineers at Northrop Grumman and wildlife biologists at San Diego Zoo Global and learn the basics of coding in this exciting activity.

Build a Volleyball Machine for a

Chance to Win $1,000

 

 

Celebrate Engineers Week with Fluor and challenge your K-12 students to build a pair of simple devices that work together like a volleyball machine with a limited set of materials. Developed by Fluor engineers in partnership with Science Buddies, the project provides a truly hands-on, highly engaging experience designed specifically for teams of up to four K-12 students. Submissions accepted from Feb. 17 to March 15.
