CNC Machines Safety Test

Read each statement carefully and decide if it is True or False. Be sure to answer all questions. When finished, enter your FIRST AND LAST NAME along with your teacher's email address and click the submit button.

1. Make all adjustments with the power turned on.

2. Check spindle speed and depth of cut before starting the operation.

3. Just hit start without a simulation or dry run.

4. Leave tools in the work area.

5. Eye protection with ANSI Z87.1 markings should be worn.

6. Leave the doors open during operation.

7. Remain with the machine until the operation is complete.

8. If a malfunction occurs, let the machine continue to run.

9. Securely clamp the work piece.

10. Brush away chips and dust while the machine is running.
