Authorized Teacher Effectiveness Coaches (ATECs) are authorized to lead EbD professional development for a designated course in your consortium state or district. The STEM CTL will provide each participant with the training, mentoring, and online resources to ensure high quality professional development. Using an ATEC to meet your professional development needs provides flexibility for scheduling and budgets.

Costs (per person):
Weekend Authorized TEC Institute (ATI) for one individual to train in one course is $3,390, which includes: up to $550 for coach airfare, on-site group meals, and two nights lodging for the Weekend Institute. Transportation and meals to and from the airport are the responsibility of the trainee. Mileage, in lieu of air fare, is reimbursable up to the amount of an advanced purchase economy coach ticket.
One individual may train in two courses for $4,315, which requires 3 nights lodging and an extra day of training (Friday through Monday), or one individual may train in three courses for $5,140 which requires four nights lodging and two extra days training (Thursday through Monday).
Please note: TECs are required to intern at a 4-day Summer Institute for each course ATI. The travel costs associated with the internship is the responsibility of the intern.
