Professional Bio
This 2023 school year is the start to my 15th year as a Technology and Engineering Education Teacher. I have mainly taught middle school students 6-8th grade, but have entered the high school ages a few times to support my Minnesota School District’s growth.
Over the years my growth in the field has been evolving with different certifications, a CTE license and a MS degree in Technology Education. In 2020, I was asked to pilot for Minnesota the EngineeringByDesign (EbD) Curriculum for all grades. I have enjoyed the curriculum so much that I have become an ATEC for Middle School EbD, and NTEC for OnshapebyDesign. Last year, I presented OnshapebyDesign at the ITTEA conference here in Minnesota.
Away from school, I am a wife and mother of three. We have 2 dogs too. My hobbies include craft projects, wood working, and Jeeping-camping-traveling adventures.
