Litherland/ITEEA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship

All nominees will be notified as to their status by mid-November and will be recognized at the ITEEA Annual Conference.

What is the Litherland/ITEEA Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship?

A $500 scholarship for an undergraduate student majoring in technology and engineering education teacher preparation. The award is based upon interest in teaching, academic ability, need, and faculty recommendations.

This scholarship is presented during the ITEEA Annual Conference. The winner does not have to be present to receive the scholarship.

Amount: $500.00

Who is eligible to be nominated?

  • Self nominations are accepted.
  • Nominee is a member of ITEEA.
  • Nominee must not be a senior by application deadline.
  • Nominee must be a current, full-time (as defined by the respective institution) undergraduate majoring in technology and engineering education teacher preparation.

The following materials must be included at the time of nomination:

  • Letter of nomination including statement about applicant's personal interest in teaching technology and engineering.
  • Nominee's current resume or CV.
  • Nominee's college transcript; a grade point average of 2.5 or higher (on a 4.0 scale) is required. 
  • Three (3) letters of recommendation
