Upper School Director of STEM - Lakeland, FL
The RISE Institute (Research, Innovation, STEM and Entrepreneurship) and science program at Lakeland Christian School are seeking an experienced teacher and coach to join our faculty in some combination of the physical, earth, and engineering sciences.
Experience with and vision for Robotics and engineering is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a sharpening the minds and shepherding the hearts perspective of middle and high schoolers in the context of a can-do, “how might we … ” student-centric, learning environment.
This role offers the unique opportunity to build and scale a premier STEM initiative backed by strong administrative support and dedicated resources.
Working directly alongside the Head of Upper School and the RISE Director of Operations, you will lead the cultivation of a dynamic STEM program designed to sharpen minds, shepherd hearts, and prepare LCS students to fulfill their God-ordained callings in science, technology, engineering, and applied mathematics.
