ITEEA Scholastics: Onshape Certification byDesign

The Spring 2024 ITEEA Scholastics course equips educators to teach the Onshape Certification byDesign course and/or effectively bring Onshape into their classroom through first-hand experience. Registered participants will complete the Onshape Certification byDesign course as students, preparing them for the Onshape Certified Associate Exam. This semester course consists of three units with five learning cycles, a preliminary, and primary challenge. You will work within Onshape and the Buzz learning management system to complete all of the learning cycle and challenge activities, just like your students would.

Who should participate? Educators interested in effectively using Onshape in their classroom, teaching OnShape to their students, learning about the OnShape Certified Associates Exam, and/or becoming Associate Certified. Not familiar with Onshape? Learn more here.
When is the course? The course runs approximately four months, beginning Monday, February 19, 2024 through Thursday, June 20, 2024, with sessions Mondays (required) and Thursdays (optional) weekly. Monday's required sessions are synchronous from 6:00pm-8:05pm EST and Thursday's optional sessions are asynchronous, with a co-professor available for additional support/help on any instructional needs.
