Claussen/ITEEA Foundation Memorial Scholarship
All nominees will be notified as to their status by mid-November and will be recognized at the ITEEA Annual Conference.
What is the Claussen/ITEEA Foundation Memorial Scholarship?
This scholarship created in memory of Larry Claussen, former technology educator, TEECA advisor, mentor, and friend.
This scholarship’s purpose is to encourage professional development participation of undergraduate junior and senior TEECA members at the annual ITEEA Conference. The successful applicant will receive $300 to offset the expenses of attending the annual ITEEA Conference.
The scholarship is presented during the ITEEA Annual Conference. The winner must be present to receive the scholarship.
Amount: $300.00
Who is eligible to be nominated?
- Applicant is a member of ITEEA.
- Applicant is registered for the ITEEA Annual conference.
- Applicant must be an undergraduate junior or senior TEECA member preparing to become a technology and/or engineering education teacher in Grades K-12.
- Applicant must attend Maley "Spirit of Excellence" Breakfast during the ITEEA Annual Conference, at which award is presented.
The following materials must be included at the time of nomination:
- A letter of recommendation by current TEECA advisor(s)
