Public Understanding of Technology and Engineering Education Award
All nominees will be notified as to their status by mid-November and will be recognized at the ITEEA Annual Conference.
What is the Public Understanding of Technology and Engineering Education Award?
This award shall be given to an individual who, while working in their field, has also contributed substantially to the public understanding of technology and engineering. Nominations are encouraged to identify candidates whose contributions have reached broad audiences and have a sustained record of contributing to the public understanding of technology and engineering.
Who is Eligible to be nominated?
- Self nominations are accepted
- Nominee is a member of ITEEA.
- Nominee had leadership roles in ITEEA and other affiliate organization(s)
- Presentations and professional development activities at local to international level
- Recognition by peers.
The following materials must be included at the time of nomination:
- ITEEA "Awards Nomination Code" from nominee's Member Compass (to confirm membership)
- At least three (3) letters of support
