Professional Bio
Honorably discharged NMCB-21 Seabee Dr. Subrina D. Oliver prefers nontraditional technology careers. Her peers consider her a pioneer for earning an Automotive Technology Degree in half the time recommended by Denver Automotive & Diesel College and returning to her high school to become one of the NYSEd's first female Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs and Transportation Systems teachers.
Dr. Oliver has a BS in Behavioral Science (Occupational Education), MEd in Leadership & Administration, and MBA in E-Business. The educator has 21 years of experience in Career & Technical Education, Building and District Administration, Technology Education, Business & Marketing Education, and Master Scheduler certifications. Project Lead the Way, Principles of Engineering, and Engineering by Design are among her education licenses and certifications. Dr. Oliver was Long Island's first K-12 STEM and CTE Director and SUNY Automotive Adjunct Professor.
She founded the O-High Foundation, Inc. and is the CEO of O-High Technologies, LLC (www.o-hightech.com).
Dr. Oliver, a 2016 Pace University Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems doctoral graduate and "STEMinist," is most proud of her commitment to career-connected STEM pathways for underserved talents. Her non-profit (www.o-high.org and www.theSTEMProjectCenter.Org) organizes innovative career awareness and skills-readiness events for future workforce stakeholders.
